    Congratulations to the following students whose artwork recently placed in the Pensacola Interstate Fair school art exhibit: Stephy Chen, 2nd place - Beginning Art Morgan Helms, 1st place - Ceramics Vanessa Lopez, 2nd place - Ceramics Bianca Claros, 3rd place - Ceramics Gabriella Gonzalez, Honorable Mention - Ceramics Gracie Morris, 2nd place - Mixed Media Kaydee Cook, 1st place - Painting Selena Sorrells, 2nd place - Photography Sarah Cook, 3rd place - Photography Harmony Trudeau, Honorable Mention - Photography Abby Gryskiewicz, 2nd place - Sculpture Valencia Blue, 2nd place - Textiles. Their art will be on display at the fairgrounds from October 21st - 31st.

    Congratulations to the Tate Forestry Teams for winning the District 1 Forestry contest. FFA members demonstrated their mastery of skills in forest general knowledge, Tree identification, Timber Cruising, Forest Equipment Identification and Forest Disorders (insects and diseases). First place "A" team members were Synoma Perea, Isabella Owens, Laynee Hubbell, and Jiana Dortch. Second place members were Kristen Gibbs, Ryan Grace, Piper Pfeuffer Ferguson and McKenzie Gray. Synoma Perea was the overall high individual in the contest.

    A special shoutout and congratulations to Carter Pitts for being named one of two district nominees for the US Presidential Scholarship!

    Our girls golf team tied for first place at Scenic Hills in a three team match. Low medalist for Tate was Kayla Tolbert with a score of 41.

    As report cards are published to the Focus Parent Portal today, we have added a video to parent profiles in Focus showing them how to find the report card.   Below is a screenshot from a parent profile in Focus so you know what it looks like.

    Tony Wiggins with Jostens will be on campus Monday, October 18 during all lunches to display letterman jacket options and take the measurements of students who are interested in purchasing a letterman jacket. He will have packets to distribute and online sales will go live on the Tate website on Wednesday, October 20. Those who order before November 1 will receive their jacket by Christmas.

    Underclassmen pictures will be October 19 and 20 in the Innovation Center. Students will move through the picture process by science class. Pre-order packages will be sent home to enable cash or check purchases.  To purchase pictures with a credit card, please use pre-order link below.
